DSAT Tec/Rec Appentice

*** APPRENTICE TEC ***

The Apprentice Tec Diver course is intended for those divers who do not yet have the prerequisite training and experience needed to move into technical deep diving, but who wish to begin developing the skills and knowledge involved. The Apprentice Tec Diver course will qualify a diver to make gas-switch extended no-stop dives to 130fsw, using air and enriched air with up to 60% oxygen.

COURSE PREQUISITES:

To qualify for Apprentice Deep Tec Diver, you must be:

18 years old.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
PADI Enriched Air Diver or equivalent.
PADI Deep Diver or equivalent.
Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, of which at least 10 dives were made with enriched air nitrox, 12 dives were deeper than 60 feet, and at least 6 dives were deeper than 100 feet.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

Includes:

4 Knowledge development presentations
4 Practical applications sessions
3 required Confined Water Training or Open Water Dives and associated skills.
4 required Open Water Training Dives and associated skills, at Dutch Springs.
All info to prepare divers to successfully pass the Apprentice Tec exam.
