UNDERWATER HUNTER

This course provides an introduction to Underwater Hunting. You'll learn the proper care and maintenance of different types of spear guns, game fish identification, techniques for hunting as well as the finer points that are valuable to all underwater hunters.

Who Should Attend:

Any diver who has ever thought about using their hobby to put food on the table, but didn't know how to go about it. It's just not practical to wrestle a monster Black Fish into your BC pocket. This course will show you the ins and outs of a specialty that will add many thrilling dives to your log book.

Entry Requirements:

- Must Be 15 Years of Age or Older

        - Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
        - Medical Statement and all required Release
        - PADI Deep Diver Certification or equivalent

- PADI Boat Diver Certification or equivalent

Student Equipment:

        - Complete Scuba Equipment (Rentals Available)
        - Knife, Log Book, Compass, Octopus Holder, Whistle
        - Spear Gun and Various Hunting Gear

Student Materials:

- Underwater Hunting and Gathering

- Course Tuition: $175.00
- (Student equipment and materials not included).

Class Schedule:

Classes: The second Tuesday & Wednesday of every month at The SCUBA Connection.

Class begins at 6:30 to 9:00pm. Pre-registration is required.
